Eagle Eye Eleven

Eagle Eye Eleven is in de zomer van 2004 ontstaan door vier vrienden. Ze zijn direct begonnen met het schrijven van eigen nummers. Na een aantal maanden repeteren hadden zij hun eerste optreden in Grou, waar zij in het voorprogramma van the Prefunktery Sniff speelden. Vele optredens volgden in 2005 en 2006 waar zij speelden in zalen als zalen Schaaf, poppodium Romein, Iduna en verschillende muziekcafé's. Ook verschenen zij een paar keer bij radio Mercurius.

Na een aantal bandwisselingen bestaat Eagle Eye Eleven nu uit drie enthousiaste muzikanten: Eva van Netten Gitaar/zang, Stefan Woudstra Drum/zang en Elbrich Offringa Bas/toetsen. In deze nieuwe formatie is recentelijk een demo opgenomen 'No_name_needed', waarin Eagle Eye Eleven in vijf nummers hun stijl duidelijk weergeeft. De stijl is te omschrijven als eigen poprock muziek waarin emotioneel- en vrolijkheid terug te vinden is in de songs. Deze jonge friese band is energiek en staat open voor non-stop ontwikkeling

Zinc

Zinc as a concept can look back on a long and eventful past, yet the band´s eye is always more focused on the present and the future. The band is past aiming for the big time, yet they certainly go for a great time!

Collectively, the members of Zinc have an enormous amount of experience. Due to the musicians’ wide range of influences, the sound of the band is continually shifting back and forth yet remains very recognizably Zinc.

Throughout the years, the band has developed an identity and a sound all of heir own. Combining elements from pop, wave, funk, country, jazz, rock and punk, everything still revolves around one thing: The Song.

Zinc is hard to describe, it´s best experienced live. Nowadays, the band plays a choice selection of songs from the Zinc back catalogue, while writing new material all the time. Usually working from just a basic idea or from a lyric that singer Roland brings along, the band shuffles it around until it sounds just right.

SQY Rocking Team

SQY Rocking Team is a four piece rock band from The Netherlands. Their music can be described as hard-metal glam-rock ‘n’ roll that finds its roots in the 70s and 80s. SQY Rocking Team is known for their energetic live shows and stage performances and they have played over 650 gigs in Holland as well as abroad. In their impressive 14 years career they shared stages with famous international bands and played on several renowned festivals (Bospop 2005 en Arrow Rock Festival 2006). Their fourth full length CD "Full Throttle" was very well received and this leaded to an enormous media -boost. Their latest CD "Top Fuel Tendencies" continues the "Full Throttle" music style in which lots of guitars are combined with melodic harmonies. To announce the release of "Top Fuel Tendencies", SQY Rocking Team released a teaser single with special radio edits of the songs ‘Punk Rock Skunk’ en ‘Overdrive’. Due to the success of "Top Fuel Tendencies", SQY Rocking Team has been on a non-stop promotion tour and will start to present "Top Fuel Tendencies" now also outside Holland on a bigger scale, starting with shows in the United Kingdom and New York. To support this adventure, SQY Rocking Team has recorded 2 video – clips for the songs "Get It Done" and "NYC".

MonoDrive

MonoDrive is een driemanformatie uit Rotterdam en bestaat sinds 2004. De band speelt rockmuziek in de breedste zin van het woord. De nummers variëren van bombastische rockexplosies tot ingetogen, bijna filmische muziek en alles wat daar tussenin zou kunnen vallen. Bij het aftasten van deze mogelijkheden wordt het experiment niet vermeden. Toch zoekt MonoDrive hierbij altijd naar de juiste balans tussen creativiteit en effectiviteit. Afwisseling is daarom een kernwoord. De band wil en kan wat dat betreft geen stromingen binnen de zogenaamde gitaarmuziek uitsluiten. Alles wat binnen het bereik van een trio ligt, en dat is dankzij de huidige techniek een hoop, behoort tot de mogelijkheden. Zo maakt de band veelvuldig gebruik van loopmachines, samples en andere nuttige effecten.

The Odds Against

Against all odds that there is a band who’s doing something new. Well, The Odds Against play all odds and doing it their way. Nothing can’t be done!

And so they say... Within one year, and this time not against the odds but still like The Odds (say what?!) the new EP is a fact. Let the ‘Psychobunny’ hop into your stereo and play it loud!
